4 Chicken fillets or 400g of Extra lean Beef strips.
1/2 a large spanish onion.
1 punnet of Button mushrooms.
2 large carrots.
1 red and 1 green pepper.
1 tsp of fresh or ground ginger.
3 tbsp of Oyster sauce
50mls of water.
50mls of Coke Zero or sweetener of preferred.
1 Chicken Stock cube.
1 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce.
1/2 tsp of 5 spice.
1 red Chili or Chili powder add as little or as much as you like. I like it hot!
2 Large cloves of crushed Garlic.
1 tbsp of Dark Soy sauce.
Low cal cooking spray.
1.5 tbsp of freshy ground pepper. (Add to your liking)
In a Wok brown off the chicken and add the onions and mushroom and stir fry for 1 minute.
Add the water and stock cube and leave to simmer for a further minute.
Add the dry or fresh spices, garlic, ginger, oyster sauce, soy sauce and chili and leave to reduce for 3 minutes.
Add carrots and peppers and fry for a further 2 minutes and serve with boiled rice with 1/3 fresh seasonal steamed veg or salad.
